Natasha Preston grew up In a small town. She found her love for writing when she shared a story online. She loves writing about romance, thrillers, and occasionally serial killers.

For eleven years, Oakley Farrell has not talked. At the age of five she quit talking and nobody seems to know why. She refused to talk, she remained silent. She is bullied at school and only has one friend and his name is Cole Benson.

Oakley's best friend Cole who has been her best friend since they were kids really wants to know why she want talk but Cole does not want to pressure her into anything she doesn't want to do or talk about considering she hasn't talked in eleven years. On the way to Italy Cole and Oakley sit beside each other on the way to Italy, she usually sits with Mia and she didn't want their parents thinking anything was up but nothing was said about it so they stopped worrying. They went out to each ever night while they were on their trip but they had to be home on their curfew. Every night Cole would go to Oakley's room and sleep in the bed with her, Cole would set his alarm and get up at five o'clock and go to his room so nobody would know he slept with her. Later that week they ended up having sex and that only maker their feelings for each their stronger. They still didn't get want to tell there families they were dating, they did not want to chance not being able to see each other everyday.
