When an individual hears someone talking about Christian music, most of the time they believe it’s hymns from a book. Additionally, Christian music has many styles. This is similar to current pop music. An example of current pop music would be songs written by Taylor Swift. “In the Eye of The Storm” has a four-beat rhythm to it. It utilizes the and of four. (The and of four is a music concept for counting music.) Due to the song using that type of rhythm with a drum set. It created an upbeat style, making people want to join in clapping, along with singing. There are many other instruments that come together to generate a song.
One of those instruments includes keys. Keys are quite similar to a piano. Keys are a nickname for a keyboard. A keyboard resembles a piano, but is more petite. It is also an electronic instrument, that can recreate countless number of instruments, including sounds. Other instruments in the song include; guitar, cello, bass, and piano. By combining these instruments, you can product an extravagant sound. Depending on its key (major or minor) you can add more to the overall sound.
Dynamics are another huge part of music. People notice the powerful moment or the quite relaxing part of the song. Those moments are created though dynamics. When a song lifts someone up emotionally, it is also known as “the build.” (Encouragement). Most songs are quite during the versus. The song then builds during the chorus. By adding lyrics, you can send across a message that goes along with the feel of the music.
