In What Way Is The Future A Bad Thing?
I think that in this book the way that the future is shown is a bad thing. thing as well to show what we could be if we don't take care of our planet now. I think it was a bad thing because there wear so many different problems that where happening and going on to the point when something did happen that was actually something bad. People weren't willing to help or didn't want to because they thought that it was just another stupid person. An example is when wades trailer got blown up but the sixers. This was not his fault and it killed many other people that shouldn't have been killed but when it happened people didn't even think for a second that it might not have been a drug started fire they just assumed that it was because that is how bad of condition there home is in and it was so common that they only really started to help and try to do something about it because they didn't want the fire to spread to there homes. For me this was the first thing that really scared me because this could be our future if we don't start to do anything about it now. And I don't want to have to live in a place where if something happened and people needed help wear people would just not help them because they don't think anything of it or they think it was there own fault. So that is one of the many reasons why I think that this way the future is shown in the book ready player on is not a good thing.

Although at times it was hard to follow what was exactly happening in the book. I felt like the book jumped around a lot because each chapter was a different event that happened throughout the year. I didn’t know when the events occurred so at times it was confusing. In addition, the book was older so it was hard to make connections with the book and my everyday life.…

I think this book was very intriguing because the thought of this world being true isn’t really that far fetched from what could happen to us in reality. In the near future we could be controlled so that everything was chose for us based on data. Do I think it will happen? No, because we’ve always stuck to having a president and not a dictatorship. I found the Officials (people who watched the peoples daily lives and took care of things) to quite frankly a bit of an annoyance. I mean how annoying can it be to have someone watch your whole entire life? There was never any privacy for Cassia. They even invaded her dreams when she slept.…

The future in the work force is often sometimes scary to think about. Currently when trying to get ahold of a customer service representative with most companies it is a struggle trying to get through to a live person. It is common now to get stuck with a recording along with a long hassle with the recording trying to understand what is being said or pressed and this often leaves the person calling in frustration. The prediction in the future work force especially in technology has a lot to do with this. It is predicted that in 2025 people will be able to rent minute to minute services through a cloud, while this does offer opportunities with less travel and carbon footprint it also puts a gap in between direct person…

After attending college at the University of Louvain, I moved to Padua to study for my doctorate. After being offered the chair of surgery and anatomy, I pursued my desire to research the anatomy. Although surgery and anatomy are considered of little importance in comparison to other branches of medicine, I believe that surgery must be grounded in anatomy. I have been given the opportunity to perform my research on the cadavers of executed criminals after many years of only studying primates. This will increase my dissection material and provide a means in which I can compare the apes with the human. Due to various religious reasons, human cadavers have not been made available in times past. I see the world adapting to the importance of surgery and anatomy in medicine and this opportunity will increase my knowledge, therefore, allowing me to extend my research to others.…

The book was much too alarmist. It made the reader feel like if something isn’t done about these problems and if Mcworld doesn’t stop it’s growth then it game over for everyone. Obviously since the book was written in 1995 the stats are somewhat dated but still, It’s not like what the author has to present is anything new. We realize that Mcworld is going to keep on growing and tribalism will always have a violent tendency. It’s the way things are, it’s the way they always have been and it’s the way it always will be. Human nature will not allow east and west to ever become one without some sort of imperialism or takeover by one or the other. World peace and unity is an impossibility, not due to economic markets or ethnic strife or any of that, it’s because it’s human nature. There’s no winning. Get over…

Long ago, the Eastern Roman Empire became known as the Byzantine Empire because the Roman Empire was split into two. The Roman Empire was no longer controllable by Diocletian, who was the emperor at the time, so he decided to split it into two parts. The Eastern Empire governed out of Byzantium (which became known as Constantinople), while the Western Empire was governed from Rome. After a civil war, Constantine claimed it all, he changed the empire in a way that many others could not. The term “Byzantine” derives from Byzantium, a Greek colony founded by Byzas.…

Post-apocalyptic movies have recently become what movie fanatics are talking about and what viewers want to go see in the theaters. The reasoning behind this is because this genre has everything in it: horror, action, comedy and sometimes even romance. Viewers love that these films are all based out of the writer’s head: no plot, no rules, just their thoughts. When viewers go in the theater thinking this would never happen and they leave seeing how easy it would be for it to. I Am Legend (2007) and World War Z (2013) both use basic concepts of the end of the world phenomena; such as, aggressive creatures, post-apocalyptic living and the elusive cure. These themes bring us to the future and explain what the world may soon be.…

There are two faces beyond the future (year 3000)-the negative and positive. Relax and close your eyes. Have you ever imagined the brisk and vast changes in the year 3000? Positive or negative? Hmmmm cities are modernized; clothing lifestyle has the greatest fashion trends, the means of transportation has found better ways in improved technologies, the food has healthier taste yet inexpensive and beverage as well, and the most important of all-the breath-taking environment has enhanced into a safer and more secured places. When it comes to people’s clothing, the eco-friendly clothes, digital-printed shirts, reversible blouses, and high-fashioned clothes are highly-suggested and used. These high-class yet less expensive clothes are worn in comforting way as they are. In transportation, bio-fuel vehicles, hydrogen-powered and solar-powered vehicles, and e-cars are already practiced and used. Bio-Fuel vehicles lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to those of fossil fuels. Carbon dioxide is lessening which is one of the major greenhouse gases. The same as in solar-powered vehicles and hydrogen-powered…
