Time allocated:
Presentation – 20 mins
Class discussion – 10 mins (more if time permits)
Where to start – Start the presentation with a thorough presentation of the case facts. Bring the class up to speed with the case facts. Assume an audience who do not know anything about the case.
Set up presentation quickly – We cannot afford the time. Therefore choose the quickest way to set up, either by plugging in your thumbdrive/s in the Instructor’s computer or using your own laptop provided you find out earlier how to hook up your own laptop to the AV system in the seminar room. If your presentation involves multiple computers and/or other special equipments, please make sure that you are familiar with the setup instead of trying to figure out during the presentation. These are situations that had happened far too often in the past with some groups.
No skit please - It rarely conveys the message.
Each member in the group must have an opportunity to present – Distribute work equally amongst the group members
Presentation should be interesting - Tailor your presentation to encourage participation from the audience.
Presentation must be thorough - Content should reflect good research. Make use of multimedia resources.
Conduct class demos/show videos when appropriate. Choose the best format to illustrate the case facts or concepts.
Presentation should be anchored – Make reference to concepts or frameworks discussed in class before.
Watch your time – Plan your presentation to within 20 mins. Penalty will apply if the time is exceeded.
