India in My Dreams
INDIA IN MY DREAMS

India is the land of motherhood.India is the land of riches. She has great monuments ,saints, seers, thinkers, artists and soldiers. She is rich in culture and customs. She was considered a Golden Bird. Today her children are suffering from poverty, indiscipline, bribery, disease, disunity.India achieved independence on August 15 1947.what she achieved over 50 yrs??years of freedom???there is considerable progress in our nation but simultaneously the evils have also increasing.this is due to lack of food, poverty, unemployment etc.
I have sweet and beautiful dreams for my nation INDIA.India in my dreams is a peaceful country where evry common man has his own basic needs..there is no starving for food.India is well educated country,so each and every one are educated and eligible for jobs.India is a safe and secure country. There is no racism, regionalism, provinciliesm or linguism. All are well treated.India is also scientifically strog.she has great new technologies. My country is industrialized and modernized. As it is well industriliased ,there is no starving for jobs.every individual for his own aptitude and ability can gain job and has sufficient money to liv.money s not the end of life.every individual ha s enough money.so suffient money is essential for development of one’s own personality.
Education is wide spread.so the supersticious biliefs, outworn ideas and customs are shed.India is rich in culture and tradition. The wide gulf way between the rich and the poor must be degraded.

I cannot better describe India in my dreams better quoting the famous poem by TAGORE
Where the mind is free, the head is held high
Where the knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up in to fragments by narrow domestic walls
Where the words come out from the depth of truth
Where the tireless striving stretching out arms for perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not let its way in the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led

The India of Tagore’s dream is a country where her people hold their heads high with their pride in knowledge and strength born of that knowledge. Where all countrymen must come out of their shell and not be people who have lost the vision of humanity by the narrow loyalties of caste creed and religion. Prejudice and superstitious which narrow the mind and divide people would be a thing of the past. Where the words of truth come out from the depths of the heart and are spoken out courageously in the open for the world to hear. People would work for perfections in the clear light of reason leaving aside all superstitious rituals.…

It seems more apt to call India a subcontinent rather than a country. Enough and more has been written and said about how it is a melting pot of various and diverse cultures and how some states rival some countries at least in terms of geographical area. India has been a miracle to the extent that we have managed to unite so many races together under a common flag and hold together for sixty long turbulent years. This has not been an easy journey and secessionist tendencies have reared its ugly head at several points of time prominent examples being Khalistan and, as rumours have it, a demand for a separate Tamil nation.…

While going through the sources, I happen to read Dr. Abdul Kalam’s question to one little girl, what was her dream for India? She replied “I dream of a developed India”. Giving a thought to what she said, I learned that her answer may be short but her dream was very big. Now it was a time for me to think of the same issue...that’s India of my dream. This is a topic, which is as deep like an ocean which has dangerous Sharks as well as the beautiful pearls. There is so much to dream about India; so much to cherish, so much to wish for, so much to hate and so much to desire about it. The real problem is what to write down and what to omit.…
