INDIA – THE YEAR 2020

In the year 2020, everything will and must change. From the rule of government to the way we live our everyday lives; all things will face some type of major or minor change.
Food & Nutritional security: * India will have a vibrant, highly productive commercial farm sector that can ensure food & nutritional security, generate employment opportunities, stimulate industrialization, and produce renewable energy from biomass and fuel crops. * India will have the capacity to produce more than sufficient quantities of food to provide a healthy diet to its entire population and become a major food exporter.

Knowledge & Employment: * India will have 100 per cent literacy & school education, and vocational training for all new entrants to the workforce, to equip youth with the knowledge and skills. * Employment must be considered a constitutional right of every citizen, backed by the full commitment to ensure the right of all citizens to a sustainable livelihood that will provide them with the purchasing power needed to freely cast their economic votes in the market place in the year 2020. * Each village would have a focal point for the new industries to be established and prosper.
Health:
* Expansion of the infrastructure for public health and medical care to ensure health for all will be provided in the year 2020. * In 2020, new medicine will be discovered and it will save a lot of people’s lives. The medicine will cure the Aids virus and cancer so people will live longer and healthier.
Society:
* Hopefully in the 2020 AD, India will rid itself of the discriminating nature of its caste system. There will be quality in all fields for everyone. There also will be not being some unfortunate customs like dowry system, child labor as well as discrimination against women or weaker sections of the society. I hope the society itself will develop a mechanism to promote the well being of
