1) Describe your example of Individualism and explain why it illustrates Individualism.
Answer:
What are the meaning of Individualism? What I understand is, Individualism stands for a society in which the ties between Individuals are loose. Individualist are so independence, they doesn’t not rely in anyone. Because they believe they can handle it by their own. And they put their self priority first/important family members than others. Its not they are selfish or they doesn’t want to help other human beings but there is time when you need to hold everyone needs, for your own needs first. Thus, everyone is "On their own" because they are too busy doing their own activities. But there is nothing wrong to be Individualism. And, American it is the great example of Individualism.
Example of individualism are :
The United States can clearly been seen as individualistic (scoring a 91, on the scale of Hofstede) . The “American dream ” is clearly a representation of this. This is the Americans’ hope for a better quality of life and a higher standard of living than their parents’. This belief is that anyone, regardless of their status. This is the only way for them to raise themselves from poverty

* They have their own moral stance. * Certain types of philosophy , Eg : Political Philosophy . * Their acts or act is based on their own belief.

2) Describe your example of Collectivism and explain why it illustrates Collectivism.
Answer:
What is Collectivism? Collectivism is defined as a practice or theory that makes some sort of group rather than be individual in certain fundamental area. Eg : Politic area, social or even economy. Collectivist more focusing on community or society. Moreover, they also feel that community and society goals/needs is more important than individual goals/needs. Collectivist are interdependence with one and another. Thus, collectivist likes people eat together as a family and engage in family activities more than Individualist does. Mostly collectivism happens in, National healthcare, class solidarity. And suitable country for this collectivism are, Guatemala.
Example of Collectivism :
Guatemala’s society is collectivist. This is manifest in a close long-term commitment to the member 'group', be that a family, extended family, or extended relationships. Loyalty in a collectivist culture is important. The society have a strong relationships where everyone takes responsibility for every single members in their group. * Collectivist describe any moral or social outlook in one voice as a group. * They protect each one and another from any harm. * And unquestioning loyalty they given.
