Within our society people struggle with the daily discussion to either conform to society’s values or endorse to the next idea individuality. In The Sociology of Leopard Man, written by Logan Feys he defends the idea of individuality. To illustrate this idea, he gives the story Tom Leppard, or otherwise known as Leopard Man. Feys claims that people want to assimilate to society and uses Leopard Man as an example to show individualism is not a bad thing. I support Feys claim that people have a right to their own sense of individuality without the fears and pressures of society.
