Many people think that indoor tanning is not harmful. That it is just lights tanning your skin. Some tend to think that it is not as harmful because it is not direct sunlight. However what they do not know is that it is just as harmful. There are many regulations when one is wanting to tan. And in some states banned tanning for minors (Mestel, 2012).
