This statement is true because of the following reasons; When Iron production increased, it was produced to make goods that the people needed. Like machine frames, water pipes, rails, etc. These all contributed towards the Industrial Revolution in some shape or form. Machine frames helped create factory jobs and give people work, water pipes helped create plumbing, and rails helped transport people around the country.
