• Knowledge
– Simple recall of previously learned material
• Comprehension
– Ability to make sense of the material
• Application
– Ability to use learned material in a new situation with a minimum of help or direction

– Break material into component parts so that its structure may be understood
• Synthesis
– Put parts together to form a plan new to the learner; generalise • Evaluation
