Introduction
The rapid trend for globalization calls for the adoption of information systems in organizations. The use of technology transformed the way organizations do business from automated structured processes to revolutionized business procedures. A business organization cannot exist without having suffered problems or conflicts at some point during its corporate life. However, for a business organization to thrive, it must incorporate well-thought business processes, organizational culture, structure and environment and to effectively carry out its business strategies. This is the noble role of Information Systems (IS). Information Systems according to O’Brien (2003) is the study of the interrelations between hardware and software that the organization and the people comprising it to collect, process, create or distribute valuable data. Put differently, information system involves the analysis and design of computer networking, network design, information security and decision support system. In a nutshell, an organization must have a good grasp of the importance of Information Systems to attend to the information needs of the organization’s
