For those of you who don't know Barry Sanders is a very successful running back. At the end of high school he played five games and that's it. It wasn't too much of an honor because of how poorly the team played, but Barry didn't let this stop him. He won many awards for his amazing skill. Unlike most professional athletes Barry was also a caring and generous man. "Sanders proved to be an exceptionally principled and unselfish individual. On signing his contract, he immediately tithed 10 percent to his hometown Paradise Baptist Church in Wichita.(African American history)". The main reason Barry sanders is my role is because he cared for other people. He wasn't selfish, he donated money and shared with others. This is something I wish every professional athlete did. They make so much money the least they could do is donate a little of it, like Barry
