The path is a spiral; we have already climbed many steps.” from Herman Hesse’s “Siddhartha” I believe the reason Hesse is so successful because his abilities to: Write about what he truly believes in, Write about content that he knows his customers/readers will be able to relate to and the ways he is able to transform his thoughts to words in a book perfectly.
The way Hesse is able to write from his heart is so admirable and extraordinary. Not many authors are able to do that these days without worrying about how many books they will sell for if the book earn them enough recognition. But I think it is only important to love the world, not to despise it, not for us to hate each other, but to be able to regard the world and ourselves and all beings with love, admiration and respect.” What i see here is Hesse having a perfect mind/thought that he is able to write down but at the same time still not diminish the meaning of the words.
The fact that Herman Hesse knows his readers so well that he is able to trust his instincts (Knowing that no matter what he writes his readers will find it interesting) is really inspiring to me. Hesse is one of my favorite writers because of his book “siddhartha” the book is full of relatable content, real life problems, and it's very easy to comprehend.
