These locations are convenient because they provide camouflage for stalking and sneaking up on prey. The fur on their belly is about 5 inches thick, they prefer to be solitary, or live alone. The snow leopard is considered endangered because they’re hunted for their fur, money, poached for medicine, and loss of habitat. I think we can help this species by making it illegal to hunt them, contact the government about all endangered species. “Possibly treating the cats as ‘domesticated’ animals.” I think that’s a good idea for professionals to try and domesticate them.
