all processes in the world are subject to strict laws and reasons directly related to the consequences. Butterfly wings provide the minor change in the standard state of the system and causes a chain of events leading to large changes. The metaphor of the butterfly effect in chaos theory expresses that chaos is a predictable accident. Even the smallest disturbance in the air may cause unexpected paradoxes in weather. The float on the water ripples can disrupt the balance of power and cause a terrible storm force. According to Natalie Wolchover the concept of this theory is an actual butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil can cause a tornado, storm or other natural disaster in Texas.
This statement turns out to be false “A butterfly in Brazil can flap its wings as hard as it wants but it will not cause a tornado in Texas”. If the statement was to be true then the tornado season in Texas would be unpredictable because there are millions of butterfly flapping their wings around the world. But scientists keep the butterfly in theory because some part of this concept maybe true. For some reason the long term weather forecast is still not one hundred percent precise. The weather tends to change unexpectedly. Even with the satellite imaging, computer calculations and all other technology specially built for weather forecast scientists track sudden changes very …show more content…
often. According to Discovery Science currently there is no way to prove the butterfly effect because scientist can catch a butterfly and keep track of its wings flapping but there are so many storms around the world that they cant be sure that their particular butterfly caused it. The thing that scientists where able to prove is that the butterfly wings do create a special wind current that theoretically could cause something, but it wouldn’t be a storm and not for such a big distance. Another perspective of this theory is true. As I wrote before the theory is that a small event can have a big consequence. So if, for example, I pinch my finger with a needle it is a small event but if the wound from that pinch will get infected and i spend a thousand dollars on a surgery that makes it a big consequence. Thinking like that the butterfly effect is real just on a way smaller scale. The other part of the butterfly theory considers the that a small change in the past can enormously effect the flow of history and change the world entirely.
The main idea is the same as butterfly creating a tornado by flapping its wing The common part is to be a small event and a big result. Technically any minor change in the history will change the future. For example there is a movie “__________” a person stepped on the butterfly in the dinosaur age and when the person come to his time the world became less evolved, animals that were extinct evolved and became even more dangerous than they were and the dinosaurs never died
out. The flow of time is a very difficult and unknown factor. Another movie was “The Butterfly Effect”, it has three parts to it and in all of them the main character travels in time and tries to correct the mistakes in his life. The problem with this theory is that there is absolutely no way to prove it until human kind will have the ability to travel in time. As of today this butterfly effect remains false. In theory it sound logical that if you step on a butterfly in the past this butterfly wont do what it is suppose to and because of that something big can happen.
