Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. The effect is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in several ways. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video program, although there are other methods.
I believe everyone grew with animations. Every person should have a type of animation his or her likes. First of all, I will introduce America animations.
The Golden Age of U.S. animation is a period in the United States animation history that began with the advent of sound cartoons in 1928. Many memorable characters emerged from this period including Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck,Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Goofy, Popeye, Betty Boop, Woody Woodpecker, Mighty Mouse, Mr. Magoo, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner , Tom and Jerry, and an incredibly popular adaptation of Superman. Walt Disney took animation to a new level. He was the first animator to add sound to his movie cartoons with the premiere of Steamboat Willie in 1928. In 1937, he produced the first full length animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated film based on Snow White, a German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It was the first full-length cel-animated feature in motion picture history, as well as the first animated feature film produced in America, the first produced in full color, the first to be produced by Walt Disney, and the first in the Walt Disney Animated Classics canon.

By animating substantially human figures in the characters of Snow White, the Prince, and the Wicked Queen and by forming caricatures of human figures in the seven dwarfs, Disney departed from the scope and techniques of the shorts and thus proved animation’s…

His first cartoon, a re-creation of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland that added a comedic spin, began his career in the cartoon industry and eventually spun his company into a billion dollar enterprise (Funding Universe). As Disney's popularity grew, he continued to expand his film creations, but generally by copying or "re-creating" fairy tales or other historical literature. Many Americans believe that Walt Disney was the first person to create fairy tales, and Disney failed to recognize the original creators of the stories that made him so popular: the folk.…
