The sport of basketball is one of the best sports ever to be invented. This sport features some of the best women and men to have ever played the sport; such as Lebron James, Candise Parker, Reggie miller, Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry and more. The sport has been around for many decades. This is a very simple and easy sport to play. The first thing you will need is a basketball; secondly you will need a hoop. I will start of by teaching you the basics of the game; which are dribbling the ball and passing it. First, when dribbling the ball you dibble from hand to hand only picking the ball up to either pass or shoot the ball in the hoop. Doing this you should never double dribble the ball.     Basketball was invented in December 1891 by the Canadian clergyman, educator, and physician James Naismith. Naismith introduced the game when we were an instructor at the Young Men's Christian Association Training School (now Springfield College) in Springfield, Massachusetts.
