Your mesosystem and your macrosystem will change for a very long time. It will never be as easy and as carefree or even as simple as it once was. It will never be the same. Everyone around you is going to be worried about you and focused on you. You are going to change your whole routine to accommodate what you must do to get better. It will be very hard to get use to not be seeing your friends at school or not go to work and see everyone in your “normal” life. You must realize that this is your new normal. He said everyone can either accept, reject, or modify any input given to them. With a disease like cancer they must do just that. They can either accept the fact that they have cancer and fight for their lives or they could still accept it but choose to not fight and just let it take over their body. When people get the news that they have cancer they all respond in different ways. Some of them will totally reject them and not believe a single word that the doctor has to say to them. Some will modify it and come to the agreement that they do have cancer but choose to not believe it is as bad as the doctor says or no think they need the treatment that the doctor has told them they need.
