Every year in the United States of America, up to five million Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer. Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer, although it is also the most preventable of them all as well. Before we can talk about how we can prevent it, we first need to know what skin cancer itself is. By knowing this, we will be able to take the appropriate actions necessary to keep ourselves from getting it, plus saving millions of lives while at it.
