Immunization is the top way of putting an end to a significant disease. If every student gets vaccinated, we will reduce the risk of that disease. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “Diseases are becoming rare due to vaccinations … they are becoming rare largely because we have been vaccinating against them” (Source 4). By getting vaccinated we do not only get ourselves protected, we can accomplish the elimination of many diseases as a team. Not only does immunizing your child protect them, but it will help protect their future children. By changing the law we ensure our community is safe, not only do we help save the life of one child but we save the life of an entire community. Aside from mandatory immunizations, it is better to be preventing than treating. For the reason that, one child that did not get vaccinated spread the harmful infection. I believe in this because of immunizations many diseases have been abolished. Many diseases have also not been heard of as much because vaccinations put a barrier from them infecting our nation.
