Injustice in Women Suffrage
What is injustice? How does it affect those around us and our community? In the book, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, a great deal of injustice is shown through both words and actions. On the other hand there was continual injustice in the Woman´s Rights Movement. In fact there was an article called, Little Things Are Big by Jesús Colón which infers that injustice happens everywhere and has had an impact on our society in the past during the rights movement.
To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, is a 1960 book based on the sheer lifestyle of the world and how we had been treating the neggro people. The county of Maycomb all together seems like a nice town; but once you dive into the middle of all the drama,

    Mockingbirds may seem like a regular bird but in Maycomb they resemble innocent and harmless people. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a book that focuses on racial barriers and prejudice and social class. The story takes place in Maycomb, Alabama where discriminating behavior is more or less accepted in the society. The book is based around Scout and Jem Finch as they face the years of growing up. They learn to see past the childhood innocence and to see the true horrors of their hometown.     What is injustice? Injustice can be defined as an abuse of power, tarnished reputations, and death to the innocent. When people in a community are treated differently it makes people feel out of place. It makes them think that they do not belong. The book Honky talks about the author of the book, Dalton Conley. His family is the only white family that lives in a predominantly Black and Hispanic neighborhood in the projects of Manhattan. The books talks about the hardships and discrimination the family went through being one of the only white people living in the projects.
