Innovation and Change
If there is anything that is stead fast and unchanging, it is change itself. Change is inevitable, and those organizations who do not keep up with change will become unstable, with long-term survivability in question. There are things, events, or situations that occur that affect the way a business operates, either in a positive or negative way. There are Internal and external environments. For example as internal environment; organization of machinery and equipment, technological capacity, organizational culture, management systems, financial management employee morale. And external environments might be , technology, the economy, demographics, competition, political interference. Whether they are internal or external driving forces, one thing is certain for both. Change will occur! A company must be cognizant of these changes, flexible, and willing to respond to them in an appropriate way. So here SWOT and PEST analysis can help. In my case i took my workplace as an example which is named Mojos Spanish Tapas Restaurant. In effect, what a SWOT Analysis does is show how mojos is, or will be, placed in the current market, and how well it will be able to compete in that market. It breaks down the good and bad points of mojos or concept against those of other competitors.
Strengths The strong points of Mojos
Mojos exterior is clean and tidy
Prices are cheaper than other competitors
Service style is new to the area
Mojos offers good quality and different taste of food no other restaurants offers
Mojos has a branded image
Mojos has a good choice of items available in the menu and gluten free or vegetarian options as well
Mojos employ well-trained staff
Weaknesses. The weak points of Mojos
Mojos is new and not established
Mojos doesn’t have take away option
Mojos has poor disabled facilities
There are not enough advertisement for mojos
Opportunities Benefits for mojos

    1. SWOT analysis is a marketing strategy used to find a company’s strengths and opportunities for a manager to take full advantage of them. The other two words are in the acronym are weaknesses and threats which the manager will try to work around or improve. This is needed for a company to make a marketing strategy and to become better than the competition. For example, if two companies both sold movies and they were pretty much the same in everything they do, people would go to either. But if one of those companies did a SWOT analysis and found that they can make finding these movies in the store a lot easier, then maybe they can attract more customers to their store. This would be seizing more opportunities and adding to their strengths. (pg. 49)…
