Reflective Essay: Inspiration My family is very important to me; they have encouraged me through good times and supported me through bad. My family has shaped who I am today and has always been there for me. I have 5 aunts, 3 uncles, more than enough cousins and two sisters named Christina and Catelyn. Out of my more than 30 family members there is one I particularly look up to beyond all the rest, my parents.
My parents has been by my side since the day I was born, they has supported me through a multitude school activities and extracurricular activities such as Archery, Art clubs, Baseball games. They are my parents, my life-givers, and best friends, but they are the role models to me as well and I look up to them eminently.
My parents have inspired me to aim for my goals, work hard at it, and achieve. They both graduated from college, my Dad graduated from Clemson and my mom graduated from Midlands Tech. There they both attended school for four years, worked exceedingly hard, and graduated. Dad now works at Red Cross as an IT specialist and, my Mother owns her own boutique and hair salon.
When you’re young you are told that anything is possible if you set your mind to it, or at least that’s what my Dad would always tell me. But as you mature and become smarter, you realize that you are bound by certain opportunities based on the direction you chose to take and the decisions you make. I personally believe that not everyone is always successful in achieving their dreams, but that everyone is given the opportunity and for me it’s how hard I chose to work on achieving my goals, and how important it is to me to succeed.
My parents encourage me, and I will strive to be like them in every way possible. My goal is to become an Architect/ Car Designer, it has been a passion of mine for quite a while and although my interests in careers have switched around a lot, I have finally found the career
