In the second instalment of Divergent Trilogy, new characters would be coming up and that's something that will make the story more exciting. Nonetheless, hollywood gossip centers at the actor who takes the role of Uriah.
According to Enstars, Kieynan Lonsdale will be joining the casts of Insurgent Lonsdale as Uriah, a dauntless born initiate who befriends Tris (played by Shailene Woodley) and also a divergent himself. Supposedly, Uriah's character should appear in the first installment of the trilogy however it was cut off for unknown reason, gathering several unfavorable response from the book readers and movie audience.
Do Lonsdale sounds familiar to you? Well, probably not, this 22 years old Australian hunk though definitely not a newbie, only has few American exposures. He has been a part of a television series entitled Dance Academy and a film entitled Razzle Dazzle.
Other stars that will be part of the upcoming sequel are Rosa Salazar (as Lynn), Daniel Dae Kim (as Jack Kang) and Naomi Watts (as Four's Mother).
Insurgent follows the story where the divergent pair, Tris and Four, together with Marcus, Peter and Caleb heads to the Amity headquarters to seek refuge. Later finding out that Tris parents died to protect a secret that Abnegation has been hiding to the other factions, a secret that incite the Erudite's uprising.
Returning casts includes Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Jai Courtney and Maggie Q.
The sequel is being directed by Robert Schwentke, screenplay by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman and produced by Summit Entertainment and A Lionsgate Company. Schwentke took 4 months to finish the film which was concluded last September 6, 2014. Trailer will be available sometime in mid November this year following the release of the Hunger Games The Mockingjay Part 1.
Adapted from Veronica Roth's Divergent Series, Insurgent is set to be in theaters on March 20, 2015.
