INDOFOOD – BIMOLI OIL
PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. (Formerly PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Gizindo Primanusantara, Indosentra PT Pelangi, Indobiskuit PT Makmur Mandiri and PT Ciptakemas Abadi) is a manufacturer of various types of food and beverages, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company was founded in 1990 by the name of Salim Sudono Panganjaya Intikusumayang in 1994 to Indofood. The company is exporting its food material to Australia, Asia, and Europe.
In recent decades PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood) has been transformed into a Total Food Solutions company with operations covering all stages of the food production process, from the production and processing of raw materials to the final product to be available on the shelves of retailers.
• 1982 - Original Sarimi PT Jaya was established and started manufacturing branded instant noodles Sarimi. That early-stage companies to form the largest food company Indofood.
• 1984 - Joined with PT Sanmaru Food Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (of Group Anchor Teak), which produces instant noodles brand Indomie.
• 1986 - acquired PT Supermi Indonesia, which produces branded instant noodles Supermi.
• 1987 - Launched a cup of instant noodles in the form of branded Pop Mie.
• 1989 - acquired PT Sari Food Nusantara, which produces baby food branded SUN.
• 1990 - Forming a joint venture with PepsiCo, Frito-Lay Inc. which owns the brand and started producing snacks like Chitato, Chiki, Cheetos, Jetz, Lay's, and Qtela.
• 1990 - After making acquisitions and merges, the company was founded under the name of PT Panganjaya Intikusuma.
• 1994 - Changed name to PT Indofood Sukses Makmur. Initial public offering as many as 763 milion shares with a nominal value of Rp. 1,000 per share,listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Today it has emerged as the country’ssixth largest fast food chain and its growth seems to be unstoppable.Mang Inasal was Sia’s first venture into the food industry and the challenges he encountered were daunting. When he started, the concept of a fast food restaurant serving traditional Filipino dishes was a novelty and Sia knew he was against the top players in the Philippine fast food industry. Without a real system in place during his first year of operation and no commissary to supply their raw materials, he had to learn the hard way. Sia in fact had to do most of the work, from managing the business to preparing and serving the food to cleaning afterwards. This complete lack of hesitation to do the backbreaking work, however, enabled Sia to achieve in seven years what others have taken twice as long to achieve. The restaurant was instantly successful that it spread throughout most of Visayas, to Mindanao and then Metro Manila. It applied for franchise a couple of years later. By 2009, Mang Inasal opened one hundred stores. In October of 2010, 70% of Mang Inasal was acquired by Jollibee Foods Corporation for P 3 billion ( $ 68.8 million).Currently there are 445 branches nationwide and with over 10,000 employees system wide.…
