To what extent can the integration of technology be the solution to help meet Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? One thing that people do not think about when raising money is that by providing the food and water these poor people need will not help them maintain themselves independently, because organizations are only providing them essential supplies for surviving, preventing them from starvation. What Zuckerberg meant with his statement on the 10th anniversary of Facebook was that in order to effectively help everybody in the world who lives in third world countries they need technology. If food is continuously provided to these people, they will just keep on staying alive and dependent form these charitable groups. On the other hand, a revolutionary way of literally helping these people survive, without them depending on strangers, is with the use of technology, which would help meet article 26, for two reasons. First, people could use telecommunications by using for instance the telephones in order to communicate with people all around the world, so that business can easily and quickly be done. If there were not any type of source for transmission, work would be done more slowly, and the economy would take years to grow.
