The United States was in the midst of a deep recession, and many of the nation’s manufacturers saw a strong need to export their products in other countries. One of the NAM’s earliest efforts was to call for the creation of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In thirteen year of period, the organization spent about fifteen million dollars to inform the public about the vital role of manufacturing plays in the US economy. Throughout its history, the NAM has been one of the nation’s most influential advocates for manufacturing. I chose NRA and NAM, because these both group are the oldest and the largest groups in the United States. There are many facts about both groups, which play important role in today’s society. In the past few decades this groups became so much powerful because of the overwhelming support of the rich and educated people. The gun law or second amendment is the trending topic in past few year because of the depressing events like mass shooting, murder, and robbery.
