It’s with S.O.G.S. best interest and desires to keep the users navigation and layout webite to being as simple and user friendly as possible. When selecting the navigation system future scalability is take into consideration to conform to standard website practices. S.O.G.S. will be designed with a tiered menu system and use many top tier wordings Home, Admissions, Academic, Form, RSS, and FAQ’s. As well as additional top tier will be include with the categories streaming from Prospective students, Current Students, Grades, Progress Report and Applications. Subordinate menu items will be set under the appropriate listed categories with a one-time occurrence. The system log will have log in menu for staff, for mentor access, student access, parent access, and SIS index. Google Custom search along with sitemap will be provided for easy access for information you seek. Electronic forms will use data validation therefore users would provide data that’s already in the student information system. Queries will be used to auto-fill standard information along with validation codes. This information will be used based off of the student ID# and forms previously filled out. Required fields are used for accuracy of information required to process any give request that is been collected. The system will use Spry Assets to be able to use Javascript and CSS for the checking of inputs from the client side server. The CSS will change the styles towards any entries that are not correct. ASP and regular expressions for validation before the modifications are then made to the database. The forms will also be user friendly and placed in an organized fashion base by logical ordering where all information in relation to one another will be grouped accordingly.
