Interlopers By Ulrich Von Gradwitz And Georg Znaeym

The method in which Saki writes “Interlopers” setting contributes to the conflict between the main characters. Ulrich von Gradwitz and Georg Znaeym, the main characters in the story, are part of a family feud that has gone on for years, because of “the forest lands of Gradwitz [having a] wide extent and [being] well stocked with game [animals].” (page 1). Although the land does not have the same effect as the storm winds, its effects are still large. The land description adds onto why the conflict starts exactly and pushes the conflict between the two further.
