Internship Providing Organization: WTS Travel

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS I would like to express my sincere thanks to WTS Travel for giving me the opportunity to carry out the Internship Program in their organization. The whole period spent with the organization has been of immense learning experience about the Industry. I am sincerely thankful to all my colleagues.They have provided me valuable guidance throughout the internship.
Internships provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in a particular area field. As students, we need to use the things we have learned in school and put it in practice. This is also a good chance for us to get to know our future jobs and to find our strengths.
The purpose of this report is to explain what I did and learned during my internship period. The report focuses primarily on the working environment, my job and benefits that I get.
In 1989, WTS Travel & Tours was incorporated with the license from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to operate as a Travel Agent, School Tour and Motor Coach Operator and they are also an active member of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS).
WTS travel offers premier travel services in planning of:
Corporate incentive tours
Seminars
Cruises
Inbound and Outbound tours
Malaysian tours packages by our their own coaches
Air-ticketing
Worldwide hotel reservations
Attractive tour packages around the globe.
Their business includes Singapore local coach services such as local tourist transport, coach chartering, workers transport, local tours, and tours especially to Malaysia using their own strong fleet of luxurious tour coaches. They have 8 branches in Singapore.
With a strong forces of 100+ staff and a huge coach fleet of more than 60, the company is one of the major player in coach and tour
