1. Introduction
1.1. Internship objectives
How time flies, one year’s college life is passed away. I learned many things during this year, but I have no idea how to put what I have learned in to practice. As I have plenty time this summer, I decide to find an intern to gain some social experience and help me have a deeply understanding of knowledge.
During my internship, there are two major competencies I want to develop. First is working as an accountant, handling the bill and analyzing company status. Second is working as a budget planner, helping the company prepare the budget. Also, I need to set up personal targets to develop my skills.
1.1. Personal targets and expectations
Since I was an international student, during my two month internship, I want to improve my English by working with my colleagues and communicating with the boss. Also, I want to gain more skills that I can only learn from workplace such as prepare the marketing communication plan and organize the communication activities.
I find an intern in AFLAC through the job fair. This is my first internship so I do not expect too much. As long as I learn something that is helpful to my career, I will be satisfied.
