Self-concept is developed through the reaction of others, your comparison with others, social roles you play in society, and the groups which you identify (Bevan & Sole, 2014). It is the way we view ourselves as a person.
I see myself as a hard worker and sometimes I can be anti-social.
When socializing I tend to seek those that are wives, and mothers, because I seem to be able to connect with them better.
Self-image is the image of one’s body and impressions of our own personality. It is more permanent than your self-concept. It is a combination of our internal views of ourselves, how others perceive our characteristics (Bevan & Sole, 2014).
I see myself as beautiful and smart, no matter what other people think.
I am working on my degree to improve my self-image.

It is tied to your interaction with others. Self-esteem can be described as an attitude toward yourself.
Even though I have a little weight on me, my self-esteem is still high.
Children with low self-esteem can have academic problems in school.
