all His teachings and followers should be destroyed. After Paul’s conversion he still made assumptions, but such drastic ones as I found in the beginning. While reading these passages, Paul had one main interest that he kept emphasizing. This interest was that he wanted to share the good news of the gospel to the Gentiles. Paul wanted to preach the good news God has just give to him, on the road to Damascus, to everyone he could possibly reach. He felt that the Jews were no longer the only nation that should inherit salvation. He was also interested in seeing that the Jewish leader’s strange laws were proven wrong. He mentions in his letter to the Romans that circumcision is not needed for salvation. Obeying God’s law is far more important. After reading all of Paul’s letters in this article his ideals became obvious. He wanted equality for the nations. His ideal was that everyone, no matter of race, could have a fair chance at receiving eternal life. Not only did he want them to receive eternal life he wanted to be the one to lead them to it. He was interested in making sure that he reached everyone possible and didn’t leave anyone alone in the darkness. What I found so amazing about Paul was that having the good news of salvation wasn’t enough for him. He felt the need to go out and actively be a part of the spreading the gospel. Even before his conversion Paul was never one to sit by and watch. He was always actively involved working as hard as he could for what He believed was right. I think this is the biggest lesson we can learn from Paul.
