1. What are your job responsibilities? What are the responsibilities of your department?
“My official title is Senior Research Associate so my job responsibilities are coordinate research activities. Also, assist with the development of operations for women and people in the medical field. I have to make sure projects and ideas are coordinated properly. Be a mentor for interns like yourself which can get hectic at times. Overall that are the major responsibilities of my job.”
2. How does your work contribute to the mission of the company?
“Our mission is to innovate, educate, advocate and integrate by preparing tomorrow's …show more content…
What personal traits are necessary for your job?
“A personal trait necessary for my job is being understanding. I say so because I have to be able understand what are the best choices to made for the company. Being observant as well. Observant is a key trait because when choosing a speaker for women health seminars I have to observe what traits the person is carrying (i.e. if there are concise and able to speak to women instead of talking down to them) to make sure they are the best candidate.”
7. What skills are necessary for your job?
“Skills necessary for my job are planning and research. Planning is a skill because dates have to be set for the women health seminars and conducting research so accurate information can be given out. Another skills needed is people skills, because when speaking you want to connect with your audience so they can be attentive. Lastly, the skill that is hardest for me is public speaking skills. Public speaking is a huge part of my job whether it is in a meeting or at a seminar.”
8. What type of training or education does your job require?
“I currently have my masters in medicine and going back to school for my doctrine.”

What do you like most (and least) about this job?
“What I like the most about my job is I can be the catalyst for change in someone’s life. Knowing that I can be the influence in someone life that can change their lifestyle is very rewarding. What I like least about my job is the pay (laughs). If I could change anything about my job I would change the pay.”
11. What other kinds of jobs are available in your line of work?
“There is a superfluous amount of jobs available in my line of work. Jobs include: Film, research, policy work, environmental, and communication. This jobs are all in my department and there are many more outside my department. A description of one of the jobs is in research, you conduct research about women health that can be included in research projects. With everyone on the internet you will never have nothing to do.”
12. What words of advice can you offer someone interested in this line of work?
“RUN AND RUN FAST!!!! (LAUGHS) If someone wanted to be in this line of work I would tell them to study hard and take advantage of your professors and teachers. Furthermore, I would also say, take internships so you can be prepared for what you want to do and make sure this is the career path you
