I was so happy to have chosen the interviewee, Nick Sorbe, for learning more about how a small town business can permit such remarkable leadership roles, teamwork, communication skills and an enthusiastic environment. The first thing that I will cover will be to give more of a back ground about Nick and what has led him to where he is at today. Next, it is important to know a little bit more about what Nick manages. The depth of my paper will be about the interview I had with Nick and how his job relates to some of the concepts that apply to the class. I will conclude the paper with explaining why I chose and what I have learned from Nick Sorbe.
Nick Sorbe grew up in the beautiful town of Storm Lake. After leaving home, he decided to fulfill his track dream at the University of Northern Iowa. This is where Nick met his teammate, Brent Dahlstrom. Brent was not only an athlete and a student, but also a business man. Brent started a ticket and taxi business when he was still in school. He also started getting his feet wet in buying rental properties around the same time. After graduating, Brent made an offer
