This change in lifestyle can be both positive and negative changes. An example of a positive change in a person or character's lifestyle is in Krakauer's book Into the Wild. Chris McCandless is a positive change in lifestyle because he went into the wilderness to get away from his family troubles. His lifestyle changed into becoming a man who lived in the moment. He also changed his life because he had to learn how to kill the animals and make use of all the meat given from the animal. In the movie The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross, based of the book The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins change in lifestyle is a major part of the film and book. The tributes spend a great deal of time training for the games and to get a higher rating. Some have to learn to be strong and know how to use a weapon. They have to learn tactics behind winning not just the games but a fight them may come along during the games. Another change in lifestyle is they have to learn to promote themselves to get sponsors that will save their lives. This is a big deal for katniss she is not used to having restrictions on what to say but she has to change the way she talks and acts to acquire her sponsors. Change in lifestyle for Chris McCandless was a positive change he learned to look at life and take by each moment and live on not worrying about what happens next. Therefore isolation can be for the benefit but with everything there is negative side to it. In the second source the change in the tributes was negative because they weren’t gaining anything out of it.
