Dear Albert,
My name is Candy. I’m Vietnamese and I was born in the Middle of Vietnam.
Most of my family members and my relatives live here.
Three years ago, I graduated from National Economics University in the North of Vietnam, one of the biggest and the most famous universities in my country. My major is finance and banking. After that, I moved to the South of Vietnam. It’s the place where I found my first job in my life. I had been a banker for 2.5 years before coming here. I worked in a credit department and my main task was managing the risk of loans. It was an interesting job and I really liked it. I used the knowledge that I studied in university.
I didn’t used English for along time, also my job in Vietnam didn’t use English much therefore now my English is not good. I had to finish the job to improve my English and find a better job. That’s why I came to New Zealand. It’s the first time I went abroad. I have just arrived at Auckland for 6 days but I have a deep impression in Auckland and people in here. It’s a beautiful and peaceful city, people are friendly and lovely. I went to some nice places like Mission Bay, One Tree Hill. They are all beautiful and so romantic, they looked like the scenes that I have seen in Korean films. I took many photos and sent them to my family and friends in Vietnam, they said what a beautiful city. People always help me wherever and whenever I need. I love this city and I want to spend most of my free time to travel around New Zealand.
My family has 4 members: my father, my mother, my older brother and I. My parents live and work in my hometown. My mother is a teacher, she teaches math in a high school. My father is an agricultural engineer, he works in Provincial Department of Agriculture. My brother is married and works in the South of Vietnam. He’s an accountant in a petrol company.
In my free time, I usually listen to music, go out with my friends, watch movies, read
