Introduce To Dr. Papasergi, My Hero
I would like to introduce you to Dr. Pappasergi, my hero. Her birthday is October 23. As she grew up she started thinking about what she wanted to be when she grew up. After high school, she went to California University of Pennsylvania. Her first job was an in home counselor and she also worked in Behavioral Wrap Around Services. She then became the principal of Mendon Elementary. A couple years later she went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her doctorate degree. During that year I was hit by a tornado of drama. She was the only person at Mendon Elementary who actually knew how I was feeling. Another reason she is considered a hero to me is she understood when a group of kids got together and blamed a bunch of the rules they broke on my doing. She is a loving and caring person and a wonderful principal. During her spare time she shops, works out, and she is amazingly into essential oils. Her hero is her father. If she could have one super human power it would be to stop time. She loves working with kids every day. Her favorite book is Nineteen Minutes by Jody Peakle because it makes her think about what can happen in a school. Her favorite movie is Greece. She decided to become a principal a couple days after she was cleaning out her mom’s house. …show more content…

Dr. Pappasergi also teaches me problems I did not know the answer to before. Dr. Pappasergi always makes her students and I feel safe and cared for. She is “The Fuel of The School.” Dr. Pappasergi is a hero to all. Helping when needed and also very caring, Dr. Pappasergi is always there at the right time. When there were bomb threats at the middle school, she made sure everyone got out safely when we evacuated. Not only did she make sure we made it out safely, but made it seem fun, so we felt safe as

This book focuses on the of number southern black and white who opposed the confedecy. He documented in The Road to Disunion, that anti-Confederates got strength from the weakness of slavery in the Border South, while slavery stunted population growth. The author argues that the varying support of the upper and lower South contributed to the fall of the Confederacy placing most of the blame on anti confederalist. He states that anti-Confederate whites undermined the Confederacy by remaining outside the nation while slaves unified form within and enlisted into the Union Army. Both groups guaranteed that the Union would have more men for the army which cause the Confederacy to lose because anti-Confederates waged war against Confederate southerners. That author also discusses the neutrality of the border slave states that made the Confederate war effort vulnerable. Losing nearly half of the slave states neutrality and the support for the Union army's invasion damaged the geography and population that the Confederacy could use for its defense.…

As mentioned Amy Purdy is the best example of a true hero because of the ordeal she faced and the way she was able to overcome it. Although the journey was difficult she overcame the obstacles she faced with the support of her family and friends and her loving husband and supporters she got through it and in doing so not only helped herself but those in the same boat as her. To conclude I want to leave you with a question put out by Amy Purdy “If my life were a book, and I were the author, how would I want this story to…

One kind of hero that exists all over the world is the everyday hero. The person that I consider my everyday hero is my mother. The qualities that make her my hero are her way of doing things, and also how she sacrifices herself for me. For example, she is responsible and shows her stronger side in front of us when we are facing difficult times. Also she is so lovely that almost everyone likes her when they meet her. She always says to me that her duties are to look after me but at the same time to give me the freedom to make mistakes and find bright sides of my mistakes. The way that she influences me is that I see that sometimes she leaves what she is doing for her to take care of me. Even though many people argue that heroes are not real, I will disagree with them because I believe that everybody has a hero who protects them and looks after them.…

College move-in day is right around the corner, and I’ve been reflecting on educators that touched me in a special way.I never had a favorite principal until…..In the eighth grade, my Middle School got a new principal. I didn't know too much about her, other than most of my friends had her as their principal in elementary school. I remember the first day I met her. I was late to school, as I was very often because my daycare van got me there late(that's another story for my mom to tell) I went down one walk way and she used another. When she got there before I did, she said "haha I beat you". Now that probably meant nothing to her, but it meant the world to me. I thought,"Wow, she has all these kids and noticed I took the long way, and she…
