ABSTRACT

The researchers formulated a pesticide that was made up of Chili (Capsicum frutescens), Averrhoa bilimbi (Hedychium coronarium) and Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Globus). Well eventually here in our country, many pests are everywhere like in drainages, manholes, old houses and streets. The researchers’ purposes for this project are to eliminate and control pests such as rats, cockroaches and mosquitoes. If these pests would grow and have a big amount of population, it can make everyone sick. The researchers’ pesticide is cheaper than the other commercial products and it is more effective. To create this kind of pesticide the researcher require to prepare: 1.) ½ kilo of Averrhoa bilimbi 2.) 1 ½ kilo of Chili 3.) Essence of Eucalyptus 4.) Blender 5.) Stove 6.) Strainer 7.) Empty bottle spray. First, we need to blend the Chili into the blender to cut it in pieces. After blending it, we will squeeze the Kamias fruit to get the extract of the fruit. Then, we will mix the Chili, Averrhoa bilimbi and Essence of Eucalyptus using the blender. After mixing, using the strainer, separate the juice. Then, boil the extract for 5 minutes. Then, put it in the empty spray bottle. During the procedure, you must wear gloves to avoid skin burning. Avoid having left out of the seeds of the chili because it might stick into the host of the bottle sprayer. The extract is like a chili sauce but it is not!
