Science Investigatory Project
I. Problem
Most people have a hard time figuring out what kind of soaps and solutions would be best for their skin and they want it to be very inexpensive. So we decided to plan on making such bath time bubbles for people who consider very healthy body washes.
II. Title
Herbal Skin Rubs
III. Rationale
Most people suffer from skin pigmentation, uneven skin tone, dry skin, etc. Most things that women worry about. This one would be best for them to try. This is a simple herbal experiment. And indeed, quite refreshing.
IV. Materials
Caustic Soda
Gloves and Mask
Calamansi
Water
Stove
Cooking Pot
Cooking Oil
V. Procedure
1. Prepare the materials
2. Pour 1 cup of caustic soda and 3 glasses of water to the pot.
3. Mix with a wooden ladle or bamboo stick. Use only one direction in mixing. Stir until the caustic soda is dissolved.
4. Pour 5 glasses of cooking oil to the mixture.
5. Continue stirring until the mixture is like condensed milk in thickness. Pour in half a glass of fruit extract.
6. Pour the mixture to soap molder. Set aside to cool and harden.
7. Remove from the molder and let it age for 30 days.
8. Label or use the soaps.
VI. Implication
This experiment would be helpful for people who are want a good soap for their skin. This is herbal so it would not have side effects. And this is herbal, so it may come healthy and very fragrant.
VII. Time Table
The time covered by the project is about a month. The time would meet the deadline or be done before the deadline.
VIII. Budget
The whole budget would take about 200 pesos maximum. The members would not really mind it because the said project is inexpensive
