Invictus Vs Temple Grandin

Comparison essay In "Temple Grandin" is about a woman that had autism and because of the autism everyone around her thought that she was different and weird. In "Invictus" is the story of how Nelson Mandela united South Africa with rugby by winning the world cup. The thing that makes both films similar in that both have to overcome an obstacle to make a difference in their society. In my opinion "Invictus" was a better film in that it had character development, plot, and inspiring than "Temple Grandin." To begin with, the character development in both films was very differrent in that both characters lived a different obstacles but both films had to overcome those obstacles to make their life better. In "Invictus" the obstacle was that
the film to place after the apartheids in South Africa ended and no white wanted Nelson Mandela as their president but, Nelson Mandela wanted to unite the country through the sport of rugby. While In "Temple Grandin" the obstacle was that she had to show how Temple Grandin felt while she was at school and at her aunt's farm in that she was different than most people. The way the characters were developed in that Morgan Freeman had to see what Nelson Mandela was going through when he was president in that he had a lot on his plate to fix a whole country. While Claire Daines had to show the the life of Temple Grandin in how she saw the world and the way she felt with animals dieng in that many people woulnd't want to see an animal die.
