Ipad Mini Review
Product: Ipad mini

1.Remarkably thin and light, the iPad mini is the perfect size for holding in one hand. The iPad mini also fits comfortably in the pocket of a coat or a handbag, making it ideal for use on the move. It's also beautifully designed, with obvious influences taken from Apple's iPhone 5. Finally, it's Apple's cheapest iPad starting at like 270. The iPad Mini supports the LTE networks of AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless (no luck, T-Mobile!). This means it has access to 4G mobile broadband in hundreds of markets around the country. Even with LTE on board, Apple says the iPad Mini will still get about 10 hours of battery life. That's an incredible amount of uptime when considering the productivity needs of today's mobile professionals.
2.It's no surprise that Apple is charging a HUGE price for its smaller tablet when compared to other 7-inch models. With an introductory price of $329, it costs a full $80 more than the 16 GB Nexus 7. Of course, the Nexus 7 is thick, heavy, and made of plastic, while the iPad Mini is thin, light, and made of aluminum. It also has a slower processor than iphone 5 or the regular ipads. Its comes with the dual core A5 when iphone 5 has A6 chips and ipad has A6X chips.
3. Through advertising and marketing. Word of mouth is the best advertisement, so when people get this item, the first thing they do is tell their friends how cool it is and all good and bad things about the product. That’s adds value to the item through societies

By launching IPAD, in January 2010, and releasing it into the market in April, Apple introduced a potential new product category in computers which is likely to change the way consumers interact with their devices. IPAD was able to meet a changing consumer need which saw them preferring to ‘swipe a finger across a touch screen’ instead of using a keyboard. More than 15 million units were sold in the first year alone. In a move which surprised many market watchers, Apple launched IPAD2, in March 2011, slightly more than a year after the first IPAD was released onto the market. Surprisingly!, because many marketers would have thought that IPAD1 had not yet gone through its full product life cycle. However, this move by Apple is in response to the changing competitive environment which has seen growth in the interest of tablet computers from competitors. Analysts predict the computer tablet market to treble in size in 2012. By launching IPAD2, Apple has left competitors playing ‘catch up’ in a growing segment with consumers hungry for new products. There are a dozen or more competitors with rival tablets to IPAD2 likely to be launched in 2011 from competitors like Microsoft and Toshiba.…

In a review of the iPad Air, Mossberg explains, “This processor, like most PC processors, is what's called a 64-bit chip, which means it can handle data in bigger chunks” (Apple, 2013). The M7 coprocessor integrated with the iOS 7 processor creates a CPU and graphics performance up to two times faster than its predecessor (Apple, 2013). Applications will run faster and it has the capability to enable detailed graphics and visual effects comparable to that of a desktop computer.…

There have been five versions of the iPad. The first generation laid down the basic design, such as the 9.7” screen and button location, which have stayed the same throughout all models. The 2nd generation iPad added a dual core A5 processor, a VGA front-facing camera and 720p back-facing camera for video calling. The 3rd generation iPad added a high definition Retina Display, the A5X chip with a quad-core graphics processor, a 5 megapixel camera, high definition 1080p video recording and voice dictation. The 4th generation iPad added the A6X processor, adds 4G LTE connection and replaces the 30-pin connector with the new lightning connector.
