Liz Dwyer wrote an article called “Is College Worth the Money” and took a survey of students that graduated from college and asked them about how their experience was and do they believe it was worth the money. Liz Dwyer states “Students are racking up astronomical amounts of debt and moving home with mom and dad after graduation because there are no jobs to be found”. After attending college and graduating this is one of the cons as Liz Dwyer stated. Going to college is very expensive and the bills only add up because on top of tuition you also must spend thousands on books per year. There are ways to prevent having so much debt after graduating, such as trying to find a college that you want to go to but that is also affordable, because if you are trying to go to a top end school then it is obvious that you are going to be paying a lot of money. A student that Liz Dwyer questioned believes that she did not get her money’s worth. Ashwin Anandani stated, “I don’t think the value of a college is equal to the sum of its graduates’ wages”. Ashwin paid a couple hundred thousand dollars while attending college, yet again this could have been cheaper if she was to lower her requirements of choosing a college because she decided to go to a top end
