Is Corruption Free India Possible
Is Corruption free India Possible? How you can help?
Even after 62 years of India’s independence, the plight of common man has worsened. Corrupt public servants, corrupt judges, corrupt police, etc are proving to be parasites leading 5-star lifestyles at taxpayer's expense. They in their greed for money, bribe are aiding & abetting terrorists, separatists, naxalites, underworld mafia, etc covertly & overtly, backstabbing our motherland. These corrupt public servants are crueler than Jalianwallah Bagh butcher General Dyer of British army. If Mahatma Gandhi was alive today, he would have been disgusted with the present way of democratic government, functioning of public servants & would have died heart broken. If our freedom martyrs like sri.Bhagath Singh or Sri. Madan Lal Dingra or Sri.Subhash Chandra Bose would have been alive; they would have given a befitting reply to this corrupt police, corrupt judges, and public servants.
Whenever, a common man raises his voice for justice, he is silenced in various ways by the criminal nexus. The said criminal nexus has previously tried to silence me in many ways including attempts to murder, closure of newspaper etc.
We can when we develop our roads n infrastructure we can control lot. On the other hand we should have eye old vehicles which are polluting lot n share autos too. I dont think so becuase it requires a lot of political will to impose anti pollution laws. And this political will is what is absent. Mere laws wouldnt suffice in a country with an overflowing population as ours, what we need is strict...

Mahatma Gandhi, Indian nationalist, and the man credited with liberating India from British rule led a campaign of non-violent, civil disobedience that made the continued stay in the country by the British colonizers politically and morally untenable. Imprisoned by the British for fomenting unrest, Gandhi confronted the colonizers’ force of arms with the power of his ideas, and the rightness of his cause, and by his act of courageous disobedience prevailed gloriously over the British in the end. Today, India is a vibrant democracy of 1.2 billion people, free because of the disobedience of one frail, unprepossessing man, Mahatma Gandhi.…

Durning suggests stricter laws and taxes will help get us closer to accomplishing our goal. “Scientific advances, better laws, restructured industries, new treaties, environmental taxes, grassroots campaigns – all can help us get there” (201). With some assistance from the U.S. government, consumption can definitely be controlled. In a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. E.J. fought to force the EPA to obey once and for all, the conditions of the Clean Air Act. The Clean Air Act states, “Passed in 1970. Indentifies various classes of pollutants harmful to people and to the environment and sets rigid schedules by which the EPA must issue regulations to bring various kinds of activities into compliance with its standards” (www.earthjustice.org/about_us/how_we_work/). So, earthjustice went to court to fight against the EPA and won. “A federal appeals court ruled…that a rulemaking by the EPA violates the Clean Air Act by evading mandatory cuts in toxic mercury pollution from coal-and oil-fired power plants” (“Court Says EPA Rule Allowing More Power Plant Mercury is Illegal” paragraph 1). This victory has forced the EPA to abide by the law, and hopefully the ruling will show that you may duck and dodge the law, but it will eventually catch up to…

    Does Gandhi Matter?

A prediction that has surely proved true in the present age. For us, what Gandhiji achieved was something no mortal could have dreamt of doing. So, was he immortal? A god sent down to free the disillusioned Indians? This belief was tragically proved wrong by the bullets of Nathuram Godse on the 30th of January 1948. An apostle of peace falling prey to violence, an angel of secularism gunned down by the bullets of intolerance that had infested the minds of a few. An irony of fate, or a cruel twist of destiny? Godse was sentenced to death, an eye for an eye. But, the question staring India in the face today is, "Does the message of Gandhi matter today?”…

I sit today watching the whole story uncover on the other side of the camera, about the episode of peaceful agitation launched by Anna Hazare, his arrest and then the agitation by the people of India. From outside of India, I see this as a mass movement just like the one that we had against extension of Reservation quota by Arjun Singh from the same UPA government. And ironically, I also see the same kind of resistance being offered by the government to accept the reasonable conditions of the people of India.…

    Corruption in India

The answer is very simple to tell but is extremely complecated to understand. Technically corruption is any kind of act in self interset to use public services illegally. Now there are several situations when we don't follow the law but that is not corruption if it is in public interset. Like if you give five extra minute to a sick student in exam then it is against rule but is not a kind of corruption but if you give four extra minutes for rupees then it is a kind of corruption. It is the simplest example to distinguish corruption and humanity. The corruption is not always visible but is always observable. It means one can observe every kind of corruption but corruption is not always visible. For example, if a sub division officer is not taking any action against his junior for the offence of corruption then it is a kind of invisible corruption but is still observable. Now it comes to cause of corruption. Who is the real cause of the corruption ? We can't give the whole credit to the system. We are equally responsible for the same thing. No doubt the system don't let us allow to change itself but remember we can change it slowly. Lets ask one question to your mind. Why should I loose my chance to get something illegally which others are getting ? For example, there is a job opportunity and someone equally qualified as you are is trying jack, then should you use a jack ? This question has every answer. It is not illegal or is not morally wrong. It completely depends upon you. We know corruption is a way of living for everyone nowadays. But the main question is who is responsible ? Now I think you understand, we the people are responsible, not the system. Now you will ask that how one can change the system ? I am not expecting a change in the system from you but just try to change yourself a bit. Just a bit not completely. Just try to change small things and see large things will be…

One important problem faced by most of the countries is that of Pollution. There are many laws enacted by the Govt. to control pollution. No doubt that these laws are helpful in controlling pollution till a extent but the real control and effect of these laws is put to question. There are factories who would prefer to do away with the rules and regulation by paying up fine/penalty for not adhering to the norms instead of regulating their methods of…

The majority of today’s pollution is caused by cars and trucks which are the largest single source of air pollution. With the great number of vehicles on the road we are headed toward smoggy skies and dirty air if we do nothing to help stop pollution. Everybody needs a vehicle that burns less fuel. The key to burning less fuel is to make more efficient vehicles and by putting that efficiency to work not letting it go to waste. Another good way to prevent air pollution is by combining with alternative ways of doing things. Also simple vehicle maintenance can improve fuel economy as well as minimize emissions.…

Environmental pollution is categorized into three viz. air, water and land. The emission from industries and manufacturing activities, burning of fossil fuels, household and farming chemicals, etc. are the root causes of air pollution. Common air pollutants are carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, so on and so forth. Government should invest in wind energy and solar energy, as well as other renewable energy, to minimize burning of fossil fuels, which cause heavy air pollution. We should encourage our family to use the bus, train or bike when commuting. If we all do this, there will be fewer cars on road and less fumes. Recycle and re-use things. This will minimize the dependence of producing new things. Remember manufacturing industries create a lot of pollution, so if we can re-use things like shopping plastic bags, clothing, paper and bottles, it can help. Wise usage of energy will cut down the amount of pollution we create.…

Years ago, India had no freedom at all to do all the necessary things. But due to the great freedom fighters India got its right. It is completely all because of the fighters. They have put all their lives just for the sake, welfare and for a bright future of India. They have given us the right, authority and freedom for us. ”Nadir Shah looted the country only once. But the British loot us every day. Every year wealth to the tune of 4.5 million dollar is being drained out, sucking our very blood. Britain should immediately quit India.” That’s what the Sindh times wrote on May 20, 1884, a year before the Indian National Congress was born and 58 years before the Quit India movement of 1942 was launched. Free India’ was a dream of all Indians under the British rule. Everyone during that rule fought in some way or the other with a common aim of ending British and other colonial authorities in India. After a century of revolutions, struggle, blood shedding, battles and sacrifices, India finally achieved independence on August 15, 1947. India was free in 1947 from the British Empire but the country lost many men and women who were filled with undaunted courage and spirit of patriotism. Today, they are known as freedom fighters because they sacrificed their lives for their motherland. Indian freedom fighters with their true spirit and undaunted courage had faced various tortures, exploitations and hardships to earn us freedom. The pioneers of the freedom movement were Mangal Pandey, Tantia Tope, Rani of Jhansi and the great Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi who introduced non-violent ways of fighting the enemy. Other notable freedom fighters of India are Annie Besant, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Bipin Chandra Pal, Sukhdev, Gopal Krishna Gokhale,Chandrashekhar Azad, Sarojini Naidu, Dadabhai Naoroji,Sucheta Kriplani and Chakravarti Rajagopalachari. There are endless number of men and women other than the above list who daringly fought for India’s…
