Was HIV Man Made?
Before we get into this topic, I’d like to give you all a brief understanding of HIV. HIV - the Human Immunodeficiency Virus - is a virus that attacks the immune system, resulting in a chronic, progressive illness that leaves people vulnerable to opportunistic infections and cancers. When the body can no longer fight infection, the disease is known as AIDS, which stands for Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome.
So this brings us to, is HIV a man made disease to control the population? Being a fan of conspiracy theories, I am honestly stumped on this one. HIV was supposedly originated from Africa; because the people didn’t practice safe sex methods, and because they had inadequate forms of medicine and vaccines. Another belief is that HIV originated from gay men; as the first few cases of it were found amongst them. A different theory also stated is that HIV came from a species of monkey known as the “green monkey”. These monkeys seem to have a natural immunity to the virus, but these monkeys are also hunted by African natives, and eaten. If the blood of one of these monkeys enters a scratch, or some open wound of the person, that person becomes infected with HIV. There is no exact known reason for why HIV exists, and it is still under research.
Are there people out there who wish to control the population and manipulate the numbers of human beings? Well maybe, but the chances of that are rather slim. But it would make sense; a disease that infects thousands if not millions of people, could wipe out entire civilizations and cities if a huge outbreak occurs etc. Kind of farfetched in a sense. Why would someone/someone’s want to harm and destroy not only the lives of the suffering diseased persons, but also their loved ones and families? Who knows? But in my opinion, it could work both ways. There could be a higher force playing, or just a disease on the loose.
