Earned Value (EV) Budgeted Cost for Work Performed (BCWP) How much work has been done?
Actual Cost (AC) Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) How much has been spent?
Budget At Completion (BAC) What was the entire project supposed to cost?
Estimate At Completion (EAC) What is the project expected to cost now?
Question: For Task 2, why is there a CV of ($3,600)?
In Task 2,
Cause the BCWS is 28800 and the ACWP is 32400
Amount paid to Kathy’s works = 360x 50
Amount paid to John’s works = 360x 40
Total wage paid = 360 x $(50+40) = $32400
In order to calculate the CV, we need to subtract ACWP by BCWS
So CV= 32400-28800= $3600
Question: For Task 3, why is there a SV of ($2,560)?
SV equals to EV minus PV.
For Task 3,
EV is 60% of the BCWP($6400), so it’s $3840
PV is $6400 as stated in the charter.
So SV = $3840 - $6400, -$2560
**** The END
