We go through Sir Isaac Newton's laws of motion everyday. For example riding a bike , stopping a bike, or swimming in a pool . You experience newton's first law when stopping the bike , you experience the second law when you are riding the bike ,and you can experience the third law while swimming in a swimming pool. All three of these activities have to do with motion and all fall under one of the three newton's law of motion.
Newton's first law states that any “object in motion will stay in motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force” you experience this law while you are riding the bike at a constant rate of 3 mph , but you are stopped by a crack in the road and you are launched forward but the bike will come …show more content…
The greater the mass of the object , the more force needed to accelerate the object. You can use the formula A=F/M to know how much force is needed to move a particular object. For instance you want to ride your bike and you bike weighs in at about 20 lbs and you peddle at 5mph , but to peddle a 40 lbs pound bike you would have to peddle at a greater speed to get the heavier bike moving like the lighter bike. You would have to use double the force to move the heavier bike than the first due to the mass of the bike. And finally newton's third law states that “ for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. You can experience this law while swimming in the pool, this is a good example because when you are swimming on top of water the amount of force you use to push you hand through the water is reacted to the water which causes either a big splash or a small splash. If a grown man was to splash while swimming his water reaction rather than when a toddler is swimming and making smaller splashes due to the amount of force being put on the water.
In conclusions Newton's three laws of motion can be found in your everyday Whether you or do something simple or even something hard. Sir Isaac Newton made a breakthrough in science that will never be forgotten and will always be important to not only the learning community but always to our everyday basic
