Islam Empire Of Faith
Islam: Empire of Faith

The main subject and purpose of the movie was about the Islams and the Muslims, and Muhammad plus the Christians and Sulleyman. The good thing about the movie was that it was educational. I think that it could have been better, it was boring I had a hard time staying awake. If I was to rate it it would be a five out of ten because although it was educational it was also very boring. The only thing I had problems with was that his accent was more kind of British or Australian and it's hard to understand what they are saying. I learned many things about Islams, and Muslims, and Christianity during that movie. In Islam everyone was equal and it was oral history. Muslims was the people who surrendered to God. They pray

    1. The strong point of the movie is that it shows the parallel worlds of Lana and her uncle Paul. They both are people who try to help the world be a better place and they both end up in horrible situations in two very important cities in the United States. Lana is in Los Angeles volunteering at a Christian homeless shelter and Paul who is a Vietnam veteran tries to prevent Los Angeles from attacks just like 9/11. He suspects everyone who is of Arabic origin. They meet each other when a Pakistani gets brutally murdered. The best part of the movie is the well-assembled scenes, they are very dynamic, and that makes it that the two storylines come together so nicely. The Paul’s character is very tragic, he has suffered so much trauma in his life,…

The concept and theme of the movie is good. The movie had a moral lesson that was relevant to religious beliefs, the real plot was amazing. It was an apocalyptic-tale in which Eli was a lone man and he has a task of protecting a hidden sacred book, because that book is their only hope to bring back peace of the world for its future.…

The plot of the movie was very riveting and action-packed. There are many ups and downs throughout the storyline, keeping the viewer intrigued and reeled in. Although the movie wasn’t directed at religion specifically, I was able to view a couple of the Lebanese traditions. Some of the traditions I picked up on were the attire and dances. The taxi driver was Christian so I would have to assume that the dance he conducted in the movie was one of Lebanese tradition and not Muslim. The dance was his attempt of lightening the mood for the very tense and worried Zeina. As far as the attire goes, the women wore long dresses, only revealing their face. This form of attire is very closely related to the Muslim tradition. Although the ending was rather sad, the movie was great in…

This movie also gave out a great deal of information about the Civil Rights struggle in Birmingham. It did a wonderful job of laying out the facts and and events leading up to the church bombing. Unfortunately, it took their deaths to act as the wakeup call to America concerning the racism and Civil Rights movement in the south. The scenes with George Wallace are outrageous, considering that his segregationist policies, in a way, led to the deaths of the girls. The scene where he introduces a black man that he doesn’t even know, as his “best friend” in a lame attempt at repentance, is pitiful in how pathetic he seems to be in trying to clean up his image, after the fact.…
