CASE STUDY
This case study is based on the Video Club (VC) system for an Exclusive Golf and Country Club (EGCC) and the Gentlemens ' Club (GC). VC specializes on obscure video that are not readily available from other sources. VC lends only to members/dependents of the EGCC and members of the GC. Any member of both clubs is automatically a member of the VC. Membership to both clubs is for two years. Few members are admitted / removed on 1st January and 1st July of each year. Members are not admitted / removed other than these dates. The VC is set up along conventional lines; though members are not restricted to the number of videos they can barrow at any time. VC owned videos are requested for return only if required by another member. Four (4) copies of titles (by format VHS, VCD, DVD, BlueRay) is available. In order to borrow a video material, the member selects it from the shelves, takes it to the librarian together with the club membership card.
